MULTI-ACCOUNT

Manage every client's ad accounts — across every Business Manager — from one Ott workspace.

Your clients keep their ad accounts in their own Business Managers — as they should. But most ad platforms still force you to consolidate everything under one profile. Ott uses Meta Business Login to connect multiple profiles and multiple BMs at once. One login. One workspace. Every client's ad accounts, exactly where they belong.

THE PROBLEM

Your clients' ad accounts live in different BMs. Your tool shouldn't care.

Most ad management platforms authenticate with a single Facebook profile. That profile sees only the ad accounts it has direct access to. For an agency managing 15+ clients across 20+ Business Managers, that means you're either consolidating everything under one BM (security risk), juggling multiple logins (admin hell), or cobbling together workarounds that waste hours every week.

🔄

The consolidation nightmare

Every client owns their own Business Manager — as they should. But your tool only connects to one profile, so you're forced to ask clients to move their ad accounts into your BM. They resist. Rightfully. It's their data, their pixels, their payment methods. You need a tool that goes to them, not the other way around.

🔐

Multiple logins, multiple workspaces

Some agencies maintain separate Facebook profiles per client just to work around the single-profile limit. Separate logins. Separate tool instances. Separate costs. Separate reporting. What should be a unified view of your agency's book of business becomes a patchwork of disconnected dashboards.

⏰

Hours lost to manual workarounds

Export data from one BM, import into a spreadsheet. Switch profiles, repeat. Build custom dashboards to approximate what a single view should give you natively. Every hour spent on admin is an hour you're not optimising campaigns, analysing creative, or growing client accounts.

The three bad options agencies are stuck with.

ApproachWhat It Costs YouWhy It Fails
Consolidate everything into one BMClient trust + security riskClients resist losing ownership. Meta best practices say don't do this. Permission sprawl becomes unmanageable past 5 clients.
Maintain separate logins per client5–10 extra hours per weekLogging in and out of profiles constantly. Separate tool instances multiply costs. Cross-client reporting requires manual aggregation.
Manual exports + custom dashboardsSpreadsheet hell + stale dataData is always 24 hours old by the time you compile it. One missed export breaks the chain. Doesn't scale past 10 clients.

There's a fourth option: a tool that connects to every BM you have access to, without making you move anything. That's what we built.

HOW IT WORKS

Connect everything in three steps. No consolidation required.

Ott uses Meta Business Login — Facebook's official OAuth 2.0 flow designed for businesses that manage multiple accounts. Instead of authenticating a single profile, it returns every Business Manager you have access to. Then you choose which ones to connect.

1

Log in with Meta Business Login

One click. OAuth 2.0. Meta verifies your identity and returns a list of every Business Manager and ad account you have access to — across all your Facebook profiles. No separate logins. No profile switching.

2

Select which BMs to connect

Choose the Business Managers you want Ott to manage. Client A's BM with 3 ad accounts. Client B's BM with 7 ad accounts. A freelance client's BM with 1 account. Select all of them, or just the ones you're actively managing.

3

Manage everything from one workspace

All ad accounts appear in Ott, organised under their respective Business Managers. Search by name or Business Manager ID to find a specific connection — paste an ID straight from Meta Business Suite to check whether a business is already connected. Filter by type (Profiles or Business Managers) to see only what you need. "Showing 3 of 17" appears when the list is narrowed, so you always know how many connections match. Run campaigns, manage budgets, pull reports across any connected BM. Monitor sync health and credential mapping per account. Add or remove connections any time without losing campaign history.

Built on Meta's official Business Login API.

Meta Business Login uses the business_management OAuth scope to access only the BMs and ad accounts you explicitly authorise. Ott stores refresh tokens per BM for long-lived access. Each connection is scoped independently — disconnecting one BM never affects the others. No cross-BM data leakage. Fully compliant, properly permission-scoped, and future-proof against Facebook API changes.

CAPABILITIES

One workspace. Everything you manage.

Once your BMs are connected, Ott gives you a single pane of glass across every client, every ad account, every campaign. Here's what you can do.

🔄

Toggle between profiles and BMs in one click

Switch between connected BMs from a single dropdown. No logging out, no separate browser sessions, no "which BM was that campaign in?" Your entire book of business is always one click away.

📂

Ad accounts organised under their own BMs

Client A's 3 ad accounts appear under Client A's BM. Client B's 7 ad accounts appear under Client B's BM. The hierarchy matches how your clients actually organise their Meta assets — not how a tool developer thought they should.

📊

Unified reporting across every BM

Pull performance data across all connected BMs without manual aggregation. Compare spend, CPA, ROAS, and conversion metrics side by side — per BM, per campaign, per ad set. No spreadsheets. No exports.

⚡

Friction-free client onboarding

When you add a new client, just connect their BM during Ott setup. No migration, no account transfers, no complex permission chains. Your new client's campaigns appear in Ott in under two minutes.

🔧

Add or remove connections any time

Disconnecting a BM doesn't delete your campaign history. Reconnecting it picks up where you left off. Ott stores refresh tokens securely per BM — add new clients, remove churned ones, adjust as your agency grows.

🔐

Granular, per-BM access control

Each BM connection is independently scoped. A team member who manages Client A's campaigns doesn't automatically see Client B's data. Access follows the BM, not the profile — exactly how your client contracts require.

Find any connection in seconds

As your agency grows, the connections list grows with it. 17 connections and counting — and every one of them is labelled differently in Meta (display name, user name, business name). The search box matches all three, plus the Business Manager ID. Paste an ID from Meta Business Suite to instantly check: is this business already connected?

Narrow the list by type — show only Profiles, only Business Managers, or everything. The type filter uses the same rule as the header counts (“6 of 7 profiles, 11 of 50 Business Managers”), so what you see in the list matches what the header tells you.

When the list is narrowed, a count appears: “Showing 3 of 17.” No count means you're seeing everything. And when a search returns nothing, you get a clear empty state — not the “Connect an account” CTA, which only shows when you genuinely have zero connections.

COMPARISON

Without this feature, most agencies are stuck.

The gap is real: mid-market agencies are priced out of Smartly's enterprise contracts, but outgrow the limitations of AdEspresso and consumer-grade tools. Ott sits in the sweet spot — agency-native, no minimums, built for how you actually operate.

Other Ad Platforms

WHO IT'S FOR

Built for the way agencies actually work.

Multi-Account Connection isn't a checkbox feature. It's the architectural foundation that makes Ott work for agencies managing real client relationships — not hobbyists running ads for one brand.

🏢

Agency Owners

You're scaling a team, managing client retention, and controlling costs. The last thing you need is a tool that charges per BM or forces you to consolidate client assets into your own account.

  • ✓Flat pricing regardless of how many BMs you connect
  • ✓No client-side migration required — onboarding takes 2 minutes
  • ✓Per-BM access control that matches your team structure
🎯

Media Buyers

You're managing campaigns across 5, 10, 20+ clients. Every morning you log into multiple BMs, scan campaigns, and hunt for anomalies. You need speed — not more admin.

  • ✓One-click toggle between every BM you manage
  • ✓Campaign triage across all BMs — red, amber, green, sorted by urgency
  • ✓No more "which BM was that campaign in?" — one view, everything visible
📋

Account Managers

You're client-facing. When a client asks “how are my campaigns doing?” you need the answer immediately — not after switching BMs, exporting data, and compiling a manual report.

  • ✓Instant client-ready reporting per BM — not per tool instance
  • ✓No manual aggregation across client accounts
  • ✓Onboard new clients in minutes — connect their BM, start reporting same day

Also built for freelancers and multi-brand teams.

Freelance media buyers managing 3–15 clients across separate BMs finally have a tool that doesn't force consolidation. In-house marketing teams running multiple brands under separate Business Managers get one unified view. Performance marketing agencies scaling past 20 clients stop hitting the "single profile wall."

FAQ

Questions agencies ask us.

How does Meta Business Login differ from regular Facebook login?

Regular Facebook Login authenticates a single user profile and returns only the ad accounts directly owned by that profile. Meta Business Login is an OAuth 2.0 flow designed specifically for businesses — it returns every Business Manager the authenticated user has access to (including client-owned BMs where they're added as a partner), plus all ad accounts, pages, and pixels under each BM. It's the official way Meta intends third-party platforms to support multi-account agency workflows.

Can I connect a BM I don't own but have access to?

Yes — that's exactly what this feature is built for. As long as you have admin or employee access to a Business Manager (e.g., a client added you as a partner), Meta Business Login will surface that BM during the connection flow. You select it, and Ott connects to its ad accounts. The client retains full ownership of their BM — Ott simply reads and manages the ad accounts you're authorised to access.

Do my clients need to do anything on their end?

Nothing beyond what they've already done. If your client has granted you partner access to their Business Manager in Facebook, you're ready. No account transfers, no permission changes, no migration. Ott connects to what you already have access to.

How many profiles and BMs can I connect?

There's no hard limit — Ott handles as many BMs as you have access to. We've tested with 50+ BMs across 100+ ad accounts. The Agency Pro plan is designed for scale: flat pricing regardless of how many BMs, ad accounts, or clients you connect.

Can I disconnect a BM without losing my ad data in Ott?

Yes. Disconnecting a BM preserves all historical campaign data in Ott. Performance metrics, spend history, conversion data — everything stays. If you reconnect the same BM later, Ott picks up where you left off. This is particularly useful when clients churn and return, or when you want to temporarily pause monitoring on a BM without erasing the audit trail.

Is this secure for client-owned BMs?

Each BM connection is independently scoped using per-BM OAuth tokens. Access to one BM never grants access to another. Ott enforces Meta's permission model — if a team member only has access to Client A's BM in Meta, they only see Client A's data in Ott. We never request more permissions than necessary, and you can revoke Ott's access from Facebook's Business Integrations panel at any time.

What if a team member shouldn't see a particular client's BM?

Ott's access control is BM-scoped — it mirrors the permissions you set in Meta. A team member who manages Client A's campaigns doesn't automatically see Client B's data. You control who sees what from your Meta Business Settings, and Ott respects those boundaries. No cross-BM data leakage. No accidental client data exposure.

Does this work with Ott's other features?

Yes. Multi-Account Connection is the foundation — every other Ott feature works across all connected BMs. Campaign Triage auto-flags issues across every client's campaigns. Creative Analysis compares ad performance across BMs. Telegram Conversion Tracking follows joins per BM. Activity Logs capture who changed what, in which BM, and when. It's not a siloed feature — it's how Ott works, end to end.

How do I check if a specific Business Manager is already connected to Ott?

Open your Connections page and paste the Business Manager ID into the search box. You can copy the ID directly from Meta Business Suite (Business Settings → Business Info). If the BM is connected, it appears in the filtered results. If not, you'll see an empty state — not the 'Connect an account' CTA, which only appears when you have zero connections total. The search matches on business name, display name, Meta user name, and Business Manager ID.

How many profiles and Business Managers can I connect, and how do I see the breakdown?

The Connections page header shows separate counts: personal profiles and Business Managers each have their own limit. Use the type filter (All / Profiles / Business Managers) to narrow the list by type. The filter uses the same counting rule as the header, so what you see in the list matches the numbers in the header. When a filter is active, 'Showing X of Y' appears to confirm how many connections match.

Can I share a link to a filtered view of my connections?

Yes. The search state lives in the URL (`?q=`), so you can copy and share a link to a filtered connections list. This uses the same UrlSearchInput component as the brands list and brand performance search — same debounce behavior, same clear button, same URL pattern. Your team sees the same filtered view you do.
